Tradewind are currently looking to recruit a KS1 teacher for a full-time position commencing September 2024 in a very reputable school in Denton, Tameside. This KS1 position is on a fixed term contract for 1 year with the potential of permenancy for the right candidate. This exciting KS1 role will pay MPS 1-6 and welcomes applications from both ECT's and more experienced teachers.

KS1 Teacher

As the KS1 teacher you will deliver learning in line with the KS1 curriculum with a strong focus on Storytime phonics and the systematic approach to develop skills in reading writing and verbal communication.
Maths is supported by the Activelearn scheme which promotes physical and collaborative learning experiences improving retention and overall engagement.
Foundation subjects are taught through a creative curriculum allowing all talents and skills to be nurtured
It will be key to build a strong trusting rapport with the class with behaviour being focused on positive reinforcement

Essential Requirements:

QTS status or an equivalent teaching qualification
Be able to provide two excellent references to support your previous experience in KS1

Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
Have a right to work in the UK.
