Help for Teachers from New Zealand

Teachers coming over from New Zealand will need either a Bachelor of Teaching, Bachelor of Education or equivalent. It's also important to check visa requirements and ensure you have the right to work in the UK.

The cost of living in the UK varies depending on the region. London and the South East tend to be more expensive, especially for housing, while northern regions are generally more affordable.

The school system in the UK and New Zealand have many differences. One of them is that in the UK, the school year starts in September and runs through to July, whereas in New Zealand, the academic year begins in January.
