Typically, schools will need to hire staff on daily supply for essential cover when sickness strikes or emergencies occur. Daily supply can range from covering 1 day, to working in that placement for a number of days (depending on the precise situation).
Any placement longer than 6 weeks is classed as a long-term role. This kind of placement usually comes about when a school needs to get cover for long-term sickness or parental leave, or if they are considering hiring for a new role and are trialling the position with a view to make it permanent. This is our most popular type of vacancy.
