Maths Teacher - Permanent role to start in September - Amerhsam, Buckinghamshire

Maths Teacher required for popular and well run Secondary school in Amersham, Buckinghamshire - Permanent post paying MPS 1 -6 or UPS 1-3 for those past threshold.

Teaching Maths to pupils in key stages 3 and 4 we are interviewing now for September posts!

This is a mixed, Ofsted Good school with engaging pupils who are eager to learn. Behaviour is positive and the school boasts a good relationship with it's parents. Academically the school sits just above the average for the county. This post is suitable for those completing their PGCE and looking to start their ECT as the HOD is also a Mentor and a former pupil!! Equally, experienced staff are encouraged to apply as the school has various TLR's available - all paid to scale!

Tradewind are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join this popular department and make a positive impact on our students' mathematical understanding and achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging maths lessons to students in KS 3 & 4
  • Continue the schools pursuit of excellence and high academic ability
  • Monitor and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback and support for improvement
  • Benefit from the resources of a well funded school
  • Maintain effective communication with parents, sharing updates on students' progress and achievements
  • Full time role Monday - Friday 8:30 - 3.30pm offered on a permanent basis from September

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in Mathematics
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education
  • Experience teaching maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 is desirable
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with students and colleagues
  • Innovative and creative approach to inspire students' curiosity and love for maths
  • Commitment to supporting the school's values and ethos of academic excellence and inclusively
