Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday: 8.00am -3:40pm, Thursday: 8.00am - 4.00pm, Friday: 8.00am - 2.30pm

Start date: April 2025

End date: July 2025

Tradewind are seeking a strong and qualified EYFS Learning support assistant to work with a child with SEN needs on a 1:1 basis on behalf of a mainstream Primary school in the borough of Enfield. The school are looking to appoint an individual with a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and with prior experience supporting children with SEN needs.

About the role:

• Support a pupil with SEN needs on a 1:1 basis
• Encourage social interaction and develop child's fine motor skills
• Plan and run intervention when necessary
• Support during break and lunch times
• Create stimulating learning resources to encourage academic progress
• Help to set up and tidy up at the start and end of lessons

Requirements:

• Early reading and phonics experience
• Experience working in the EYFS setting
• Strong subject knowledge
• Must have lots of initiative and a pro-active approach
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
