Start Date: February 2025
Contract: Fixed-term until July 2025
Pay Rate: MPS 1-6 - £190 -£257 p/day PAYE (ECTs welcome to apply)
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time

PRIMARY TEACHER - KS1 - YEAR 2

About the Role:
SANZA Teaching Agency is proud to work on behalf of an Outstanding Primary School in the London Borough of Islington to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher. This is a full-time, fixed-term role starting in February 2025 and running until the end of the academic year in July 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and inspire a Year 2 class, ensuring all planning, preparation, recording, assessment, and reporting meets the diverse learning and social needs of pupils.
  • Uphold the school's positive ethos and core values both inside and outside the classroom.
  • Foster constructive collaboration with teaching and non-teaching staff, parents, and governors to support pupils' success.
  • Adhere to the current national conditions of employment for schoolteachers.

About You:
We are looking for a talented and committed teacher who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
  • Has a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and a commitment to delivering high-quality teaching and learning.
  • Is enthusiastic, creative, and eager to contribute to the school's vibrant and supportive environment.
