*** English Teacher based in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire:

*** Temporary to Permanent and Permanent contracts available to start in January 2025 depending on experience and interview

*** Competitive MPS 1-6 and UPS salaries available from day based on experience and threshold

*** Full time school days (8:30-2:40 Monday - Friday) 0.8 Timetable available

This is a well run, modern academy that is proud of it's inclusive pupil base and commitment to all staff to create a balanced work / life mix. This is a school focused on empowering students to understand and actively participate in their education and school community. Due to a resignation and growth within the department the school are looking to appoint 2x English Teachers to start in January and teach across key stages 3 and 4.

Duties: As an English Teacher your responsibilities will include:

*** Planning and delivering lessons to include pupils of all abilities within your lesson, and encourage pupils to understanding the importance of English

*** Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and respect for all

*** Assess student progress and providing constructive feedback for growth and improvement to Faculty leads and parents

*** Develop and implement your teaching strategies to best impact the needs of your learners

*** Collaborating with colleagues and the English Department to contribute to the development of the curriculum and extracurricular activities
