Tradewind are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our client secondary schools on the Wirral who are seeking an Art Teacher for a long-term role due to start after October half-term. This is a full-time position continuing until Christmas in the first instance. Our client school are seeking an Art Teacher to teach across both KS3 and KS4.

Our client school is part of an educational trust which is driven by the core belief that all children can succeed through purposeful hard work, a challenging academic environment and the highest standards of teaching.

The successful Art Teacher will be joining an Art department where at KS3, students study Art from different cultures, movements and artists, exploring the styles of the Artists and practice with a range of techniques and materials. The departments aim is to foster a love of learning through Art.

Pay for this position is up to £223.62 per day, depending on experience.

To be considered for this Art Teacher position based on the Wirral the essentials are:

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Art across KS3 and KS4
  • Excellent knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • Full enhanced DBS on the update service or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure
