🏫 About the Role:

As a dedicated Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing essential support to young people aged 4-19, with a focus on those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Your responsibilities will include offering 1:1 assistance in challenging lessons and providing support in small groups.

🤝 What We're Looking For:

No prior experience in a school environment? No worries! We provide comprehensive training and guidance to kick start your journey. All we require is a fantastic personality, confidence, excellent communication skills, tactfulness, empathy, and a positive attitude.

💼 Key Responsibilities:

  • Academic support for students with SEN or SEMH
  • 1:1 assistance in challenging lessons
  • Group support in various academic settings
  • Pastoral care, comfort, encouragement, and a listening ear

⏰ Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8.30 am to 3.30 pm.

💰 Remuneration:

  • £85 per day for trainees
  • Negotiable rate for experienced Teaching Assistants
