SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Fulham

Job type: Full-time, long-term temporary position

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4pm

Start date: ASAP

End date: July 2025

Pay rate ranges from £85 to £95 per day

Tradewind are looking to appoint a SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a brilliant mainstream primary school based in Hammersmith on a full-time basis, starting immediately on a temporary basis until July 2025, with a daily pay rate ranging between £85 to £95.

The school have a warm and friendly environment and a creative curriculum making this an exciting place for both staff and pupils to work and learn. They are looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team and support a child in Early Years (reception) with mild Autism on a 1:1 basis.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Teaching Assistant is ideal but not essential
  • Good understanding and / or genuine desire to explore working in SEN
  • Experience working with primary aged children pupils is essential
  • Must be available full-time and immediately
  • This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
  • Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
  • You must have the legal right to work in the UK
