This full-time, long-term position for a SEND Year 4 TA Teaching Assistant will commence in September 2024, with potential extension into the next academic year. The daily rate ranges from £83 to £90, depending on experience.

About you: As a successful Teaching Assistant, you will oversee the progress and achievement of a high-achieving class. You will collaborate with the class teacher to support the academic progress of children with additional needs, both in group settings and one-to-one.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting teachers in lesson delivery, classroom management, and creating a positive learning environment.
Providing individualised support to pupils facing learning challenges to ensure comprehension of the curriculum.
Aiding in the preparation of teaching materials and organising resources for lessons.
Establishing positive relationships with all pupils based on trust and mutual respect.
Collaborating effectively with the key stage and wider staff to share advice, resources, and best practices.

Essential Requirements:

Excellent references showcasing previous SEND experience in KS1/KS2.
Full employment history.
Legal right to work in the UK.
