Tradewind is currently seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a fantastic SEN school located in Wirral. This is your chance to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to a supportive and dynamic educational community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing tailored support to students with SEN, both inside and outside the classroom setting.
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
  • Collaborating closely with teachers and SENCO to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Building strong relationships with students, offering encouragement and guidance to help them reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is preferred, but not essential.
  • Possession of relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is advantageous.
  • Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to support the unique needs of each student.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the diverse challenges of a SEN setting.

To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
