Tradewind is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant SEN school located in Warrington. This is your chance to embark on a rewarding journey where you'll play a crucial role in empowering students to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing tailored support and guidance to students with SEN, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Behaviour Support Plans (BSPs).
- Collaborating with teachers and SENCO to create inclusive learning environments.
- Building strong rapport with students, fostering a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
- Possession of relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is advantageous.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the unique needs of every student.
- Ability to adapt and respond to the varying demands of a SEN environment.
To be considered for this position you will:
- have previous school experience and be familiar with the SIMS system
- Be a committed professional
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
-Hold a child workforce enhanced DBS certificate which is on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (costs refunded back to you when you complete 20 days work)
-have satisfactory references
-have a CV must that covers the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any gaps in employment must be explained;
