Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a caring and professional SEN Teaching Assistant to join this primary school in Camden. This is a full time, long-term role starting ASAP for the full academic year and upon review there will be an opportunity to go permanent.

The school has its own Centre for Autism which is a specialist resource base for children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Every child who attends is part of the wider School community.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will be responsible for the below:
- Supporting students in class, small groups and on a 1:1 basis
- Encouraging and promoting student engagement in learning activities and play
- Contributing to support plans and strategies to meet the needs of each student
- Collaborating with staff, parents/carers, and outside agencies
- Monitoring and recording student progress and achievements
To join us and be successful in this role you will need:
- Previous experience working with children who have Autism
- A caring nature
- Patience and resilience
- An Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible
- Legal right to work in the UK
