Position Overview: As a Performing Arts Teacher, you will inspire and educate students in the vibrant world of drama, music, and dance. This role offers the opportunity to shape the creative development of young minds, fostering a love for the performing arts while delivering high-quality instruction that meets curriculum standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans in drama, music, and dance for students of varying ages and abilities.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel encouraged to explore their creativity and express themselves.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their growth and development in the performing arts.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to coordinate school productions, performances, and extracurricular activities.
  • Stay up to date with current trends and best practices in performing arts education, continuously enhancing your teaching methods and curriculum.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Performing Arts, Drama, Music, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK, or willingness to obtain.
  • Previous experience teaching performing arts to students at the primary or secondary level is desirable but not essential. ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
  • A passion for the performing arts and a commitment to fostering creativity and expression in young people.
