PE Teacher Wanted in Stroud - June 2024

This position is available after May half term until January 2025, with the potential for extension!

Role Responsibilities:
* Inspire a love for physical activity and healthy lifestyles by delivering outstanding PE lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop and deliver lessons tailored to the diverse range of student needs and abilities, employing various teaching strategies.
* Encourage active participation and foster positive attitudes toward physical education and personal well-being.
* Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback, supporting their progress and development.
* Facilitate effective communication with parents/guardians through parent-teacher meetings and school events.

Candidate Requirements:

* Preferred possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or comparable teaching qualifications; experienced Sports Coaches will also be considered.
* Specialisation or significant experience in teaching PE across Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Strong understanding of PE, coupled with a passion for promoting physical well-being and personal development.
* Exceptional classroom management skills, creating a comprehensive and supportive learning environment.

Pay:
Competitive daily remuneration aligned with the pay scale, negotiable based on qualifications and experience. The minimum daily rate for a non-planning and marking role is £125 - £200 PAYE
