***English Teacher required - ASAP/Immediate start - St Albans, Hertfordshire

***Teaching at an Alternative Provision school with class sizes of 2 to 4 students

***Long term and/or Permanent roles available - MPS 1 to 6 (£155 to £225 per day)

About the School - English Teacher

This fantastic school has been providing an alternative education setting for students who struggle in mainstream settings, helping them to achieve the qualifications they need to be successful in later life. Class sizes are small with a maximum of 4 and each student is taught to an individual learning plan that focuses on both academic and pastoral aspects of learning. Many of the students at this school go on to achieve well and take on further education or work when they leave. Starting as soon as possible, there is a requirement for an English teacher to join on a long-term basis.

Role requirements

• QTS Teacher or unqualified Teacher with Masters level qualification
• Teaching experience / subject knowledge in English through to KS4
• Flexible attitude to teaching and support
• Desire to work with disaffected students who have a range of behavioural issues
• Happy to work in small class settings with the support of an experienced LSA
